Subdomains as promotional tools

How to use an Opportunity.com sub domain for any program you are promoting

To fully understand this material, you will need to join Opportunity.com (it's FREE) and then go to the "Sub Domain" section of your account.

What is a sub domain?

A Sub Domain is simply a word the precedes a Domain Name - in this case, "Opportunity.com". So a Sub Domain of "John" would create a full URL of "http://John.Opportunity.com".

Why would you use a sub domain?

If you are already promoting another program or web site, this is the easiest to way to ALSO promote Opportunity.com to get free advertising. Here's how it works...

For example, let's say you are promoting an MLM program called "Golf Riches" (just making up a name). Let's say your unique URL that you use to promote that program is this:

http://www.golfriches.com/members/ID=bob123

Well, you can easily setup an Opportunity.com Sub Domain (it's FREE) to promote this program *and* also promote your Opportunity.com account for free advertising at the same time. Here's how you would do this...

Step #1: You click on the "Your Opportunity.com URLs" link at the top of this page.

Step #2: You click on "Create Subdomain".

Step #3: For the "Subdomain Name" box you would simply enter "golfriches" (or "GolfRiches" -- the capitalization doesn't matter as they will both work if someone types in either version).

Step #4: For the "Specify Redirect URL" box you would enter "http://www.golfriches.com/members/ID=bob123" (remember, this is the example URL we mentioned above for this example program you might be promoting.)

Step #5: Click the "Create Subdomain" button.

That's it! That's all there is to it. Here's what we just did...

We just created the following URL:

http://GolfRiches.Opportunity.com

Now here's what you would do with this. You simply promote this new URL just like you would have promoted the other longer URL (this one: http://www.golfriches.com/members/ID=bob123). But what happens when someone visits "http://GolfRiches.Opportunity.com"? Here's what happens...

The visitor is automatically taken to the original URL that you were promoting (http://www.golfriches.com/members/ID=bob123) *AND* at the sametime a 2nd browser window is opened "behind" that web site window. This 2nd browser window contains *YOUR* main Opportunity.com page. (The page that promotes Opportunity.com and automatically works to get people to join in your downline).

So as you promote your now shorter, easier to remember "http://GolfRiches.Opportunity.com" URL, not only do you send people to the web site for that program that you want to promote, but at the same time you are promoting your Opportunity.com account automatically and building your downline -- so you'll be able to send your free advertising to more and more people.

It's just that easy! You can have up to (10) Subdomain address to promote anything you want. So if you want to use a "http://Something.Opportunity.com" address to promote another web site AND get people in your Opportunity.com downline (to earn more free advertising), then follow the above steps to create a Subdomain. If you simply want to just promote Opportunity.com to other people (to grow your free advertising downline) then use your account URL (mentioned in the Welcome email) to send people directly to the Opportunity.com information page.
