'Beyond my wildest dreams' -- Bob's story
Most weeks, Bob Dignard-Fung is the #1 recruiter
for a particular online business. Now when
I read that, I wanted to know more. After
making contact by email, a profile emerged:
He's 45, successful -- and retired! So they
chose to live in beautiful Costa Rica, not
beautiful Canada where he comes from. Having
tasted success himself, he's passionate about
helping others to succeed. And he teaches
them for free at his website, 17Principles.com.
So I asked Bob about his business.
"It's not really a business... Acorn
Global Community is A CAUSE! An organization
of people who believe in helping each other
'To Achieve Excellence'."
It started in December 2000 when he sat down
with pen and paper. At 42, Bob found that
retirement wasn't what he expected. "I
was bored with travelling and too young to
be sitting on my favorite beaches," he
told eProfitNews.
So he jotted down various ideas. Including
e-commerce. With his strong background in
MLM, "e-commerce sure was appealing.
But I knew absolutely nothing about it",
Bob admits.
He spent about $400 getting his first "ugly"
website up and running but now realises he
didn't need to spend that much.
That wasn't the only mistake he made. After
a year or so, "I realized that I was
breaking every rule on the internet as far
as marketing goes".
Bob, what was your initial sales expectation?
"I did not have any."
"I was locked on to the VISION of creating
a process:
SEND EMAILS OUT = AUTOMATED INCOME."
So what actually happened in those first
months?
"Lots of excitement... tons of learning...
but no sales."
Bob reckons his website looked like an online
flea market. But he kept on following his
vision of automated income. And then…
"The most incredible thing happened
along the way... I met two new mentors and
many new friends from all four corners of
the globe. FINDING NEW MENTORS has been a
winning strategy for me."
Bob, how is it working out now?
"Beyond my wildest dreams." Even
though he wont reveal his income, Bob shared
this:
"My automated e-commerce profit centers
are generating more sales than the annual
salary of the President of the USA. And I
don't have to live a life surrounded by body
guards."
After telling me that he doesn't work that
hard, Bob did emphasise one thing. (Okay,
many things. And the all-caps emphasis? Yes,
it's HIS.)

The business building strategy Bob uses is
simple. "I focus on helping others...
building relationships. I teach that idea
to people." His goal is to help others
improve their results with their home-based
business -- and with their lives.
He's also very pleased with classified ads.
"Just the action of placing those little
classified ads has EXPLODED my traffic to
my website. I took one of my websites that
was getting near ZERO traffic just 90 days
ago... and now it is getting over 10,000 hits
per week."
"Last week's final report on HITS to
my website was...
Past 7 days - 13,146 visits".
"From zero to those numbers in less
than 90 days... is pretty serious results.
I think I've figured out a winning formula.
I share it freely with others via my newsletter.
I'm not afraid to tell people all my tricks
and strategy."
